Mixes like bonkers 4 have already been done to death!
about the new tracks -there's some fluffier stuff out there, like Inner Trance, but some of the newer tracks like Be Alive, Imagine, Speed of Light, The Dark Half, etc... are the shit :) After being stagnant for a while, freeform is seeing a lot more diversity in the sounds that are being used. surely that can't be a bad thing

hello hello...
Alright... I have been away from freeform for about 6 months now. I have nothing against the genre, but I haven't seen it move forward with the exception of a couple tracks. I would have to say that this mix furthers my belief. First off, I would like to say, the mixing is fine, its just the tracks that Im not too fond of. I would say that about 1/4 of the tracks sound like sped up fluffy trance. The mix does have its high points, with classics such as "fuckin trippy" you cant go wrong. I was really hoping to hear something innovative, and sadly I only heard the sound of 13 year old girls on ecstasy screaming for more. |
